My Mac Mini is extremly slow. Pc running Windows (older) is much faster. And about software: iTunes?! Is this normal that I lost more than half tracks I recorded from my CD-s. They just “disapear”!? And I’m “very rare case”:D. And someone call this software user friendly?

But Im agree in some points: soft included, esthetic, better security, good work from Apple in points where you are better. ↓.

Post author Dear Toomas, Thanks for replying. I believe that a slow operating system can have different causes. Most likely some soft-wares are slowing it down while loading at computer startup. That’s the main reason why Windows PCs are slightly slower than Macs. Macintosh, so far, do not need an antivirus/antispyware as Apple is using some heavy security rules in their latest systems. Of course you would need to upgrade the OS to its latest release which will slow down the Mac as being outdated. I do not like iTunes either to be honest.
