NEC DISPLAY SOLUTIONS SpectraView II ReadMe NEC DISPLAY SOLUTIONS SpectraView II ReadMe Information for Windows Version 1.1.39.00 – build 181024 – October 24, 2018 Contents:. SpectraView II provides automatic display monitor color calibration and profiling functions for supported models of NEC display monitors. The software uses a two-way communications link with the display monitor either via the video graphics adapter over the video cable – known as DDC/CI (Display Data Channel - Command Interface) – or via a separate USB connection to the display (supported models only). Using a USB connection to the display is highly recommended for compatibility and speed. USB drivers for the X-Rite i1, i1Pro2, Datacolor Spyder 3, 4 and 5, and BasICColor Discus color sensors are automatically installed if selected in the SpectraView software installation process. Drivers are not needed for the X-Rite i1Display Pro and NEC MDSVSENSOR3 / NEC SpectraSensor Pro color sensors.
But are not automatically installed. New Display Firmware New firmware for the following display models is available which adds some functionality improvements. P241W.

Excel default date format. Excel bases its default date formatting options on which region you specify. Finally, if you prefer you can create a cell formatting style that uses a data format of dd/mm/yyyy. If you create the style in a blank workbook, you can then save the workbook as a template and then use it to create new workbooks in the future. Re: Excel Default date for date format If you are spelling out the month as 3 letters it works for me. In fact if i enter 01/12 I do get 2005-01-12 which is my default format.
New versions of the AMD video settings application, for Radeon and FirePro products, include a feature called 'Color Temperature'. This feature can severely impact the accuracy of on-screen colors when it is not set to the default '6500K'. Do not set this to 'Automatic' or to any value other than '6500K'. HDMI and video graphics adapter driver settings:.
When using an HDMI video connection to the display, beware that many video graphics adapters will by default treat the display as a TV-type device rather than a computer monitor. The range of video levels used in the video signal is different between TV devices and computer display monitors. TV devices typically use the range 16 to 235, rather than the full 0 to 255 range used by computer display monitors.
If incorrectly configured, this can lead to:. Very poor black levels (because “black” output from the computer is actually level 16 rather than 0). Darker than normal whites (because “white” is level 235 rather than 255). The resulting screen image will appear slightly washed out and lacking in contrast.
Significant color banding may be present. When calibrating the monitor, on some display models the calibration may fail and display an error message. On other models the calibration will finish, but the final results will show a distorted gamma curve. Therefore, if using an HDMI video connection, be sure to check the video graphics adapter driver settings to make sure the correct range for a computer display monitor are being used. The terminology for the setting varies between each manufacturer and driver package, but some common examples are given below:.
Intel: “Input Range” or “Quantization range” should be “Full Range”. Nvidia: “Output dynamic range” should be “Full”, “Normal”, “High”, or “RGB (0-255)”. AMD / ATI: “Color Pixel Format” should be “RGB 4:4:4 Format PC Standard (Full RGB)”. Consult the help for the video graphics adapter driver being used for specific details.
